Looking like an ice-bound sea due to the glacial drifts of "waves",
the glacier miraculously resembles a rhythmically breathing ocean at evening.

Klyuchevsky volcano 15,580 ft (4,750 m).


This beautiful, basaltic stratovolcano(first from left),
of an almost perfectly symmetrical, conical shape,
is the highest active volcano in Eurasia and belongs
to the Klyuchevskaya volcanic group which consists
of 12 volcanoes.

The picture shows a rare light that nature has to offer - a green hue of the sky.
This optical phenomenon occurs very seldom and only under specific atmospheric conditions.
Such a phenomenon can be seen in the moment when the sun’s disk seems to touch the surface of the ocean.
t is said that one can see this “green ray” only once in a lifetime.
